Policy Analysis

In my role as a Policy Analyst, I conduct thorough assessments of policies to evaluate their alignment with business objectives and legislative requirements. 

My responsibilities encompass scrutinising existing policies, reviewing and providing recommendations for new policy drafts, and suggesting enhancements to current policies. Additionally, I may offer strategic advice on policy development and planning to organisations, aiding them in their overall policy framework.  


Change Management

Change management involves a methodical and structured approach to addressing the transition or transformation of an organisation’s objectives, processes, or technologies. Its primary objective is to implement strategies that facilitate and control change while supporting individuals in adapting to it.

In my role as a Change Manager, I am responsible for creating change management plans for projects or change initiatives. I assess the potential impact of planned organisational changes, identifying risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, particularly addressing anticipated resistance to change. By carefully evaluating the potential obstacles and implementing effective mitigation tactics, I strive to ensure a smooth and successful transition, enabling the organisation to achieve its desired outcomes.


Research

In 2020 I completed a research project with Tourism Tasmania, under the T21 project titled "Inclusive Tourism". The information outcomes of this project can be found on the corporate webpage on the Tourism Tasmania website.

In the last 2 years I have been conducting empirical research in inclusive tourism through UTAS. My recent  project sought to explore the perception of managers of accomodation venues to uncover the barriers to providing services people with a disability in Tasmania .

I am now using the findings of my research to assist businesses to increase their market segmentation to access this profitable market.


Process Analysis

In my role as a Process Analyst, I analyse and assess business processes and workflows with the aim of identifying potential areas for improvement and automation. By conducting comprehensive reviews and re-designing business models, I assist management in driving their strategic plans and ensuring competitiveness within their industry. 

Collaborating with company managers and stakeholders, I identify opportunities for enhancement and develop effective strategies to optimise business processes. My focus is on streamlining and re-engineering existing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity, ultimately contributing to the organisation's success.


Organisational Management

Organisational consulting involves implementing systems and tools for organising physical spaces, workload, and communications to enhance productivity and efficiency. It streamlines work processes, reduces clutter, and promotes effective communication, leading to improved focus, better time management, and successful goal attainment.


Marketing

Marketing management involves planning, implementing, and controlling marketing activities to achieve business goals. It includes analyzing the market, targeting customers, and creating effective strategies. Marketing managers can provide advice on product development, pricing, promotion, and distribution to engage customers and drive growth. We focus on understanding consumers and competitors, managing the brand, and measuring marketing effectiveness.
